Cardiolife appoints Rui Assunção as VP Sales

Cardiolife is pleased to announce the appointment of Rui Assunção as Vice President of Sales, as part of strengthening the company’s commercial organization and accelerating global growth.

Rui Assunção brings more than 25 years of international experience in commercial leadership across software, technology, and SaaS. He has a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and launching and scaling products across more than 100 countries. His expertise in go-to-market strategy, channel development, and strategic partnerships, combined with deep experience in AI and SaaS commercialization, positions him to accelerate Cardiolife’s global expansion and translate clinical innovation into commercial traction across healthcare markets.

In his role as VP Sales, Rui will be responsible for defining and executing Cardiolife’s global commercial strategy, leading go-to-market initiatives, and driving revenue growth across key geographies and customer segments. He will also play a central role in shaping the company’s overall growth strategy as part of the executive leadership team.
