Cardiolife Participates in EU-Funded Research Project to Advance AI-Driven Cardiac Diagnostics

Cardiolife is a consortium partner in a Portuguese–EU research program under the COMPETE 2030 initiative, focused on developing advanced digital health solutions for cardiovascular care. The project has been granted EU funding and is currently well underway.

The initiative, titled “Cardiolife Advanced: Solution for Detection and Prediction of Cardiac Pathologies through Artificial Intelligence”, brings together leading research and industry partners, including Digital Logic Kardio Software S.A., Cardio-On, and INESC TEC. 

With a total project budget of approximately €1.68 million, including €1.3 million in EU funding, the program aims to accelerate the development of next-generation AI modules for cardiac diagnostics and monitoring. 

The project focuses on enhancing Cardiolife’s platform through the integration of advanced AI models capable of detecting, monitoring, and predicting cardiovascular diseases with high precision. This includes the identification of complex and rare cardiac conditions, as well as the ability to forecast the progression of critical diseases based on ECG and Holter data.

By combining research capabilities with real-world clinical applications, the consortium aims to deliver a comprehensive decision-support tool for healthcare professionals, contributing to improved patient outcomes and more efficient healthcare systems.
