João Primo

João Primo is a cardiologist with expertise in cardiac electrophysiology at Hospital da Luz in Portugal, where he’s been practicing since 2004.
His specializations include diagnosing and treating arrhythmias, catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, and heart failure management with advanced therapies such as resynchronization. Dr. Primo leads the Electrophysiology Lab and Syncope Unit at Hospital da Luz and serves as a consultant at Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho Hospital Center. He has published widely and held key roles, including as President of the Portuguese Association of Arrhythmology.
